CWFC Braves, Nottingham 19th April 2008

CWFC can confirm an initial fight card for the forthcoming Braves event to be held in the afternoon at the Harvey Hadden Sports Complex, Nottingham.  Support has come from across UK MMA Gyms & Clubs with more confirming as we go to press.

Team Shotai Kai, F’s Freestyle Gym, Wolfslair Academy, Gladiator MMA Gym, The Outcasts Gym & Team Tap or Snap have all entered Fighters ranging from 14 to 17 years of age. We have 8 confirmed bouts with more to follow so if you wish to enter a Junior please contact Ian Dean quickly to arrange.

All bouts will be over 3 x 3 minute rounds with a ‘No Headshots’ rule firmly in place, this applies at all times. Further rules exclude the use of ; Elbow Strikes, Spinal Locks or Cranks, Neck Cranks or Heel Hooks. All Fighters will be required to wear ‘Sparmaster’ style 8oz gloves, shin guards, groin guards and mouth guards. The afternoon event is open to all recognised MMA Clubs & Gyms and will provide a platform for the Juniors to gain valuable experience inside the Cage.
