M-1 Challenge 7th Edition

The 7th edition of the worldwide M-1 Challenge is to finally hit british shores this September when four of the leading Challenge Teams battle it out in pursuit of national pride and personal glory.
The teams competing will be ; Red Devil vs USA & Russia Legion vs Europe in 10 international superbouts of MMA in this seventh instalment of the 2008 season. M-1 rules will apply and each bout will be fought over 2 x 5 minute rounds, in the M-1 Ring. Each team will field up to 5 fighters across; Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Lightheavyweight & Heavyweight classes. The ultimately successful team will receive a $50,000 win bonus at the end of the season.
Plus, there will be up to 5 eliminators to decide upon the vacant team positions for the 2009 British Warriors Team, who will be entering next years tournament. An announcement of the first pick team will be made over the weekend of the event.
A further SuperFight will head the evening's bill when Nottinghams' own Wayne Buck faces Matteo Minonzio in a Heavyweight re-match following the recent Rough House 7 event when Buck lost to Minonzio due to injury stoppage. Further SuperFights are also planned and will be announced over the coming weeks.
