At the moment we are just gauging interest for a wrestling seminar in the northeast put on by Stockton freestyle wrestling club for any grapplers and mixed martial artists who want to learn how to tighten up there takedowns and takedown defense.
we train alot of mixed martial artists who come to our club including Abdul Mohammed and Hassan muridi.

It will be held at stockton sports centre.

The price will probably be around 20 pound per person.

If anyone wants details please pm me and i will give you any info you ask for.
Thanks
(Also thanks to birmingham wrestling club for giving me the idea):)

sounds good, will it be all day and what level of wrestling ability should you have?

looking to do two hours on a morning , some lunch then two hours on the afternoon.

any level of wrestling is fine as we will be teaching takedowns and takedown defense and some mma and some lads might be more experienced than others though for some it will be new and others it will tighten their game.

hope that helps.

abdul would be teaching mma as well as me as i used to fight when the sport was young( 1997 onwards) thems were the days fighting for trophies and broken noses. ahh the nostalgia.

Anywhere near Newcastle? That's just a couple hours by train.

How is Aberdeen to Newcastle 2 hours on the train?? It takes between 1 1/2 and 2 to just get from Edinburgh to Newcastle, it must be nearer 4 hours from Aberdeen to Newcastle which is a lot more than a couple of hours!!

To answer your question Stockton is about 40 mins south of Newcastle in teeside next to Middlesbrough.

If you get the train from Aberdeen I reckon you're looking at, at least 5 hours each way.

Okay, okay, so not exactly a couple of hours. 5 hours still doesn't seem like that much to me, and that's what I meant. I'm originally from Canada, so I'm used to it taking hours to get anywhere, never mind actually leaving your city. I'd still be up for going to the seminar when it happens.
