I want to buy a big very heavy maize bag, anyone got any recomendations? reasonably priced.

John Hopton, get to a gym that does proper boxing and they'll show you what to do with a Maize bag. Your trainers are obviously not well versed in striking.

I would also recommend the use of Elbows, knees, and all types of kicks, as well as just punches to train for MMA / UK-1 / THAI.
