problem is looks like you have to be a member of a judo club, have membership forms, insurance and all that stuff. what a shame

A few of us from Bushido did the grappling one a few weeks ago and had a very good time. Was impressed with the quality of fighters there too.

Thank you! We had a great time and I'd recommend it for anyone who's looking to get a bit of experience under their belt.

Not this one, I think I'm doing the Combat Open instead on the same day. There's no way I'd fight in the U85 category again though, i was dwarfed by everyone else! Gonna see what I can with my weight and try and get down to the one below...

Oh yeah, i hear you won your fight at the weekend - congratulations dude! How did it play out?

Yes, great little event, ideal for guys wanting to get some event experience under their belts without the added pressure of big crowds etc taht said the last event was pretty rowdy at times from the crowds, some really good scraps :D

I'll be there again, hope to bring down a few more lads this time most should be back off their holidays.

Recommend this event to anyone I can see a great future for this event and for the UMA, one of the best run events in the UK.
