We will soon have a blog with all info.

People can enroll by leaving a comment there or emailing James.
Please include full name, sex, belt and weith division.

Rules will be standard BJJ without advantage scoring, only points.
We will have a rules meeting prior to the first match and after weighins, so is important to arrive early.

Medals are made in the same factory that makes all BJJ Official tournaments.

im arriving today with the medals!

Everyone is welcome to come to the griphouse and have a look at them.

None of the comps in UK had nicer medals than those.

Girls division will be merged to have a single womens division (all belts, all weights)

So we will have an open weight purple belt division for the guys.

I got only a few pictures, and will post them in my blog this week and upload here.

James has full results and will publish them soon.

We had 52 competitors in ten divisions, most winners had to fight 3 times to get the gold, the atmosphere was cordial and inviting, there were absolute no injuries, no complains about results, and the comp run ahead of schedule and at 3:20 we did the medal ceremony to end the comp.

I'm very happy with the outcome of this competition and looking forward to the next one, in 2008.

Certainly a forward move to BJJ in Scotland.

Cheers to everyone that helped doing this a brilliant day.

Special props to James Mc Intyre, Paul Mc Veigh, Guy Ramsal, Dr. Maeve Rodgers, Doug MacMaster, Steve Mainsy, Mark Curry and Cougar for all the work!

And special thanks to our students and friends in Glasgow, Ayr, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline that came forward to compete and support us, to Ricky Young and all the guys from Edinburgh (Including Polish and Russian), both teams from Aberdeen (AMAG and SBG), Bolton lads and the Irishman. This comp would not be the same without you. So hope 2 see everyone around for the II Caledonian BJJ Open, in 2008

Cheers
