Josh Gavin's Hostile Territory Gym without a shadow of a doubt. Excellent facilities, top notch instructors, good friendly atmosphere - check it out at http://www.thedojo-alloa.co.uk/

The gym is located in a unit of the odl Clackmannan Road Sports Centre right next to Alloa Athletic football ground

I've no idea what Colin is doing with that email address :)

However, he has a TKD background (blackbelt) and has Rab Burt teaching thai-boxing (fought and coached for Base). He is currently looking for somebody to teach ground game. So if anybody is interested give him a shout.

Also in Stirling area is the Dojo as James mentioned and SMAC. Dojo has a full training cage, various equipment and stable of fighters as well as high level judo. SMAC opened more recently and has classes for TKD, Kickboxing, Wrestling, BJJ and Muay Thai. All qualified guys coaching. Scott Robertson takes the thai class, he is an excellent coach.

Sorry for not responding on this sooner, just new on this and didn't check it again after the post!
My fault about the email address, to used to typing in my web address, www.colinlyon.com!
Proper e mail is just colinlyontkd@hotmail.co.uk. As Rich says I have Rab Burt in doing the Thai classes for me on a Tuesday & Thursday and also a wrestling coach on the Monday, as Cougar says he has e mailed me and were hopefully in the process of sorting him out on the submission front. I personally am a 3rd degree black belt in ITF taekwondo though I will be leaving the MMA coaching to the individual coaches and will just be training in each of the classes.

Scottish Martial Arts Centre is located in Dumyat Business Park just outside Tullibody it has excellent travel links to the surrounding areas and we have many guys training from the Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk areas. The Gym is a purpose built 3,500 sqft facility with two mat rooms, strength and conditioning area, bag room etc

we have classes taught by specialist instructors, all with an excellent reputation and competition pedigree. The classes on offer include;

ITF Taekwon-Do (Gary McGuire), Kickboxing (Adam Paterson), Submission Wrestling (Chris MacAteer), Muay Thai (Scott Robertson) No-Gi BJJ/Grappling (BOA GRAPPLING) KRAV MAGA (IKMS)

Full range of sparring, conditioning and cardio classes also available. All these classes can be included under a single membership including access to our gym. Open Monday - Friday 10am - 10pm Saturday 10am - 6pm

The BOA Grappling club is based at SMAC but also have classes in Bridge of Allan and Grangemouth

Website: www.smac-online.co.uk
E-mail: info@smac-online.co.uk
Tel: 07921168240

my suggestion to anyone who is looking for a place to train is to walk through the door and see for yourself. some styles suit people differently so try find a setup that suits you, the connection between you and the instructor/other students is also very important, you have to be able to trust your instructor(s) and be comfortable in the classes and with the people your training with if you wish to learn.

Our new gym is now fully up and running at the boathouse gym in Riverside, Stirling. We are offering classes in Muay Thai (Rab Burt, Scottish and Commonwealth Champion), BJJ (Anthony Thompson, BJJ Purple & Judo Black Belt who also studies, trains and fights MMA) Senior Taekwon-Do (Colin Lyon 3rd degree Black Belt). Along with that we offer a weekly class in MMA with the focus being on adapting the techniques learnt in the other classes to suit MMA. There are also HIIT (High Intensity Interval Classes) aimed at taking your fitness to a new level. We have a fee structure in place that rewards hard trainers, ie £50 per calander month, which works out at £1.25 per class for the people that are willing to train in the 10 classes available each week, the structure is set up to allow you to achieve this each week and it is also all done Mon-Thu to allow a free weekend after a hard weeks graft! We also offer a free week trial through our website which means you can come and check out the facilities, arts and instructors at no commitment from yourself whatsoever as we are very confident in what we are offering. We operate a freedom orientated school and welcome all people all the time from any club, so even if you wish to stay with your current club and supplement your training with us then please feel free. We look forward to welcoming you to STIRLING'S first and only MMA school!
