Guys & Gals,

I have a landline & a mobile number for someone and I (or more importantly a close family memeber) truly desperately needs to know who they are and where they live (or where the phone is registered etc)

Apparently a 'Bent-Copper' would easliy be able to tell me, but I don't know any.

If anybody can PM me any assistance / tips it'd be truly appreciated.

p.s NO my wife isn't playing away from home !

you could simply phone either number and ask them where they live

If you put the area code of the landline in google it should bring up the area it is from. But as you probably have done this already then try

Phone them up pretending to sell something and see if you can get an appointment to see them. Sell the appt, not the product, then ask for the address so you know where to go then when you get there say you are giving away free knuckle sandwiches and smack him one :cool:

You would be suprised what people would do. It's called Social engineering.

e.g. Imagine you are sat at you PC at work in your office. Your phone rings and the person on the other ends goes "Morning, it's Gary from IT. We're upgrading the security of the systems today and need to check everyone's account. Can you give me your username and password?"

Most people actually will!

Now imagine your mobile rings and the voice one th end offers you a new handset, free text minutes, free phone games, whatever...... again you will be suprised how many people people will had over their address

Anyway, good look finding them... I hope it's a path you really want to travel as it may not be you who decides when you can get off it and how far down it you have to go

No I am not a jedi, although I have an uncanny resembmlence to Yoda...

It's my first, a little girl, due on the 8th. She is going to be called Dana Ultimate Fighting Championship Chatfield... the missus aint impressed though
