I'm having laptop problems too, over the last 3 days it's started fucking up for no reason, it'll stall every couple of hours meaning I have to restart it, sometimes the music on itunes will stop playing and the rest of the laptop will work fine, and I've also had the 'blue screen of death' about 6 times in the last few days.

But nothing bad has happened for the last 5 hours, so (touchwood) hopefully it's fixed itself. Lol you know you have a windows computer when you're pleased with the fact that it's been working for a whole 5 hours.

A few days ago it automatically installed some new updates so that might be what you're talking about....

I'm not sure if the GPU card in this thing is NVIDIA or not, where would be the best place to look? It's an Advent laptop and I just had a quick scan on the bottom of the laptop but couldn't see anything.

Cannot stand windows but I prefer its interface to the Apple one.
