For the contender boxing fight that was at the arena, the way ins were at Gosforth Park hotel, so hopefully they will be their again as I live at the back of it.
The tickets are on sale 10th November after 12 oclock.

heh, I just registered to the news letter thing so I can get it a day before the general public. Still bound to be some 50 left.

BTW, how much did you pay for the UFC fight club? did you have to get the ultimate one? Cause I was gonna register, but its like $80

I paid 35 to join Fight Club it lasts a year, I ordered 4 - 35 tickets - which turned out to be 44 tickets after Booking fee and Postage the robbin fuckers!
Ive got 4 tickets at Block 200 Row M which I am a bit fucking fuming about to be honest considering FC membership, I phoned ticket master and they explained that these were the best seats, I ordered them at 10:01am, sounds dodgey as fuck to me, no way are those the best seats for 35 at 10:01am, more like the UFC just gave that block for UFC price banding for FC members, it will be interesting to hear where anyone else got tickets.
Propper shit allocation system for Fight Club members, but you get what you pay for, still I get to go and watch BJ in the Octagon and will try and blag a better seat because I doubt it will sell out!

What tickets did you get? 35?

ralphylad

I cant see any problems with selling the 35 tickets for face value at least, if you check the seating plan there is only limited 35 sections, mostly 100s and 200 seem to be the majoy allocation and 50 quid ones were only very small areas so no wonder they have all gone.

juniormma
09-11-2007, 10:12 PM
You reckon the 35's will be decent seats?

ralphylad
09-11-2007, 10:20 PM
I doubt any will be "really" shit seats to be honest and if they are just sort one of the marshalls out or sneak in somewhere, the M.E.N was shit for stopping anyone going anywhere, I was down at the Octagon at one point meeting Matt Serra, Herb Dean etc..
So with any luck we will be able to get an upgrade!

Junior MMA, my internet connection was shot last night so couldn't buy tickets (in a decent area).

Have you still got 3 spare, cos I'd have 2 of them if you need to sell them on.

Arseholes on Ebay buying tonnes of them and selling them on for a hefty profit, meaning I have to pay 200 for poxy balcony seats!!

Hi everyone by the way :)

Hi Annitsford let's hope they weigh in at the Marriott (I worked there for 6 years so know all the hiding places etc) fingers crossed. Maybe cos it's so close to the airport I dunno? Have you got tickets to the UFC, I tried yesterday but couldn't manage to get any so am desperately trying today. Not gonna get ripped off though like on EBay

Hello John!!

Yes certainly is, I've been off the forums for years, you know how it was in those days. Sometimes it's hard to separate the forums from reality!

I have been working for more or less 3 - 4 years working my way up from the bottom so have put everything into that.

Must admit I'm not training but still find time (amongst many other things) to follow the UFC etc. But how things have changed!!

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the UFC was coming to my hometown it was just such a shame not to be able to get tickets. Cheapest I can get them on TM is 200, so I'm gutted.

Hope you are keeping well, and hope the likes of Godders and Kainer etc are all fine?

Chris

Ralphylad -i'll see ya there, i'm same block -cost me bloody 44 too - if they say the seats are 35 you should pay that not additional extras, - they will kill it for us UK lot otherwise - I certainly won't bother again if it's that much more (plus beer, travel, beer, hotel & beer) - robbing bastards - better when it's in states, just to watch it FREE the next day

Thats fucking bullshit.. We were told the 50s were sold out, then they go and release more. I feel bad for the suckers who payed 40 membership to the UFC fight club, then had to get the shitty 35's.

Which tickets are overall the best to buy?

Annitsford
15-11-2007, 06:26 PM
Was at Metro Arena a few years back to watch Boxing, found my self moving back into the cheap seats as got better view, not sure if this is the case with all arenas.

200 quid 1s... if you want abit cheaper id rather have 50 then anything else.

Rob Hannis
16-11-2007, 02:33 PM
I'm good chris, out of uni and mortgage advisor now, as fun as it is at the moment.

And the 200 quid tickets are the ones to go for, the view from the 100/150 aren't that great
