Hi guys,

London Arnis Group in collaboration with Applied Fighting Systems is pleased to announce the opening of a BJJ/MMA Class at Plumstead Leisure Centre (SE London)

The classes will start on 24th of November and they will be running on Saturday from 11:30am to 1:30pm and for the first 1 hour it will be BJJ-Gi and the next hour MMA.

The class will be taught by Coach Steve Haydock, Head Instructor Applied Fighting Systems, a black belt in Brazilian Ju Jitsu under Roberto Atalla .

I had the pleasure to have a training session with Steve and all I can say is whether you are looking for Competition, Self-Defence or just wanted to keep fit his teaching skills are amazing.

The 2 hours session will cost £5.

For more infos regarding the class please send me a private message.

Any review, as my lady killing machine wouldn't start this morning.

Hi guys,

Saturday we had our first BJJ Class in Plumstead under the direct instruction of Steve Haydock BJJ Black Belt under Roberto Atalla... I take this opportunity to say a BIG Thank You to him and his guys who came down for the first lesson..it was an excellent training atmosphere.
The teaching was TOP Class, very detailed but easy to grasp due to Steve's excellent teaching ability.
And at the end..surprise surprise(kidding..no surprises there)...sparring...well..all I can say his purple belts are smooooth..very technical...they made everything look so easy..hopefully one day I will reach that level.

So now..I'm looking forward to the next session and hopefully my intercostal muscle will be fully recovered by next week to start rolling.

Thanks again Steve and see you next Saturday.

Is this class still running?

I'm moving to Plumstead soon so this would be perfect for me!

I was born and raised in Plumstead; why anyone would actually move there is beyond me.

That said, it's good to see an MMA club in the area because there was never much else around.
