Just spoke to my mate, who is a pro evo guy, has always prefered it over fifa, but he mentioned the new one is complete dogshite?

what are peoples thoughts?

Online blows. online on PS3 is even worse. there is no friend lobby so trying to get a game is nails. No Mic so you cant talk. Default msgs are lame like "you are a good player"

it was 10x better on the PS2

However i also have Fifa and it plays slow and i dont rate that either.

Both disapointments IMO

I think the idea of Fifa 08 playing a little slower is realism, instead of arcadey passing and shooting with not much tactics behind it.

I'd get Fifa 08, everyone i know who has played the new pro evo and the new fifa would say Fifa 08 is superior in more than one way.

i haven't got it on my 360 for all the reasons mentioned in the thread which is a shame cos last year i was excited as hell.

Football Manager on my PC. I know loads of people find them boring but i will never get bored.

As for my console, I'm rarely on my 360 anymore. Normally just let my bro to go on it and play GOW or PES 6

Ive decided Fifa is better this year.

One fifa they have a mode where u can control just one player for the whole game.

So the other night me and 7 other lads played. Everyone took it well serious. It was like playing sunday league. People held their postions it was well funny.

I always pick striker first and so far ive scored every game. Its great, Im always screaming for service :)

not played PES 2008 but had all the previous versions and that was possible on every version i can remember...
