Ethyl ester tastes like shit... plus theres no evidence that its better for you than creatine mono. Its more expensive too.

If I were you I'd just get the pure micronized stuff. It'll normally say "Pure creatine", "German creatine" or "Micronized creatine" on the label. I got mine from America so I'm not sure what the prices are like over here though.

Agreed, at least unless you are worried about the extra weight.

I'm assuming he means better for his mma training so... Extra water weight could slow him down, possible increase in blood pressure etc..

Therefore ethyl ester = Better for you :D

But yeah it tastes foul, worst supplememnt I have ever tasted.

I use creatine mono, and I don't think I've put on much water weight since I started.

I tried that at first, but I prefer just mixing it with apple/grape juice.

What's the difference between the monohydrate, liquid and ethyl ester?

Creatine isn't stable when in liquid form, it degrades into Creatinine which is useless to your muscles. Any companies that claim to have found a way to stabilize it are flat out lying.

I've tried both mono and ethyl ester, and honestly the only difference I could see was the taste. I ended up throwing out all the CEE because it tasted so bad.

That's a more polite version of what I was going to say - liquid is a waste of time and ester is a waste of money!

personally I got a bloated and bad stomach and bad, bad cramps from Mono. I didn't get this from the fowl tasting ester. I bought a loads of caps from ebay cheap and spend hours (literally) filling them up with CEE.

or you can just buy the tablet form from www.myprotein.co.uk

CEE is better than mono, avoid the liquid it is a phosphate blend and not as good, myprotein and bulk powders are probably the cheapest

Liquids are infact illegal I think as they contain no creatine whatsoever. Creatine breaks down in water into creatinine a waste after a short period.

A phosphate blend eh? Creatine is used in the body as phosphocreatine where it dontates is phoshpate to ADP turning it back into ATP to fuel the krebs cycle a little longer. Phosphocreatine is the usefull form within the body.

CEE does seem to get better reports than mono, and less weight gain. It is however more expensive.

The most widely recognised as best quality creatine is "Creapure" from SKW labs in germany. Most branded manufactures use this, non branded cheaper powders are more likely Asian made.

I found everything I have had from them really, really good. The CEE (though tastes like shit), the Whey is on a par with Reflex (which is top draw). Didn't notice much with the tribbulus so haven't reordered. The L-Glutamine is good too. I also buy a l;rge tub of Glucosamine from them now and again

can i take creatine and HRI water balance at the same time, just to keep the water retention off my stomach?

Or will it just counter what the creatine is trying to achive?
