hey im looking for training to get stronger and fitter for ice hockey .. wondering where is the best place i could go ?? i live around chatham , maidstone , rochester area .. travel a bit but not far , until im driving . (jan 16th)

There is a good place in swanley called 'Semtex' it's in the town centre. Not sure of a number but if you google it I'm sure you'll turn it up.

They are currently having a refit and will be back open in january. There is a small cage, boxing ring, free weights and bags on site.

the best you could do - as you dont drive is to go to Medway submissions at Strood sports centre with Lee Johnstone.

sorry i cant confirm either way. However the last guy that asked, that lived in ashford - Benny - posts above yours - now comes to Carlsons Tonbridge.

Theres 2 or 3 guys that come from that way.Share a lifts with them if you want.

Ashford Vale Tudo is open but has changed location, A few of the guys from there train with us too. Ill find out there new address tomorrow night and post for you. You are more then welcome to come and try our place too www.infinitymma.co.uk

Carlsons Tonbridge, Ashford ValeTudo, Infinity MMA, Dartford MMA. I think the choice in training facilities in Kent is finally beginning to get there, and I think any of the above clubs have a welcoming attitude. :-)

monday 7:30pm-9:30pm
tuesday 8pm-9:30pm
thursday 8pm-9:30pm
sunday 11:30am-1pm

the tuesday class has just started and is BJJ, where we have a black belt come down from London Fight Factory. the rest is sub wrestling/mma or whatever aspect u want to train.

at the moment we train at strood leisure centre but in march sometime lee will be opening a full time gym just a few minutes from there.
