Steve from Combatbase NE here. Just a heads up to let you know that Eddie Bravo has confimed a seminar with us on Saturday 19th January 2008 between 10am and 2 pm. Cost is £40. The seminar has limited numbers and I need payment ASAP to reserve you a place. Pm me if you are interested and I can sort details fo payment with you and the venue its to be held at. This is a chance to train with the legend who invented the rubber guard and an innovative new style of No GI BJJ.

Not a scam, organised with Combatbase NE. Pay your money and then i'll give out location to those who have paid, as trying to keep this as low key as possible for Eddie and Joe.

It needs to be low profile as I dont want every autograph hunter and picture taker going to the UFC trying to take pics of Eddie/Joe whilst he's trying to do a seminar which other people have paid good money to see. Hence the reason I am only disclosing venue to those who have paid. Hope you understand. Nothing cloak and dagger, just trying to make it a great seminar.

i understand that, but i can't see autograph hunters clogging up a seminar to get to joe and eddie of all people.

eddie does a great seminar so that should be a selling point. not disclosing the location is just silly imo

All the very best with this seminar not that it will take much for it to be a success!

For people upset about not disclosing the venue, just accept it. It's no con, and Steve is probably the most selfless person I know (mma or not).

thanks to all who turned up, there was around 60 there today. Eddie said in the car on the way back to the hotel that it was the biggest and best seminar he has done to date and said he wasn't shitting me. He said the standard was very good too for the time he had. I will definately be working on on his techniques as have just got the rubber guard DVD from budovideos.

Indeed he did say that coz I was interviewing him on the way back to the Hilton, had about 7 minutes with him :D The seminar was very very good, very impressed with the way he teaches and he's very approachable. Many people slag him off for all the dope talk, but it's a front for the DVD's. In real life he's very easy to talk to.
