no the bristol open is on feb 16th but that is a gi comp!!
i think the 10k qualifiers are on really early next year but i am unsure if they are invitation only on done by some sort of league or something????

yeah it's the 10k qualifiers I was thinking about. I thought it was an open comp to decide qualifiers. So is it a comp for people who've already qualified then? I suppose we'll get told at some point.

Yeah the 10k qualifiers must be an open event then,i know a few of the usual suspects have already been asked to compete in the event again, but yeah you're right they will have to give out details about it pretty soon!!:)

The Qualifiers will be an open and event and will choose fighters for the 10k, however the date of the 10k will be changing and it may be a bi-annual event instead of an annual one. So 2009 will be the actual tournament!!

The plan is to have the UG tournament run as a normal event and fighters will be handpicked for the 10k and given prizes for their performance.

i think its less than 3 years training is novice and more than is pro.

it should be in the rules
