Is this globably? If it's just the UK, then theres only about 5 active fighters anyway, so we'd have to drop the bar pretty low!

Donna's correct, there are far more female fighters than you think. Just because men are in the majority doesn't actually make their standard higher than the womens. I've seen some pretty dire mens fights actually I've seen a lot of dire mens fights up and down the country! No one however seems to say they shouldn't fight even though they are appalling and probably should never set foot in the ring/cage again. It makes me laugh when men will sit though a bad male match and even comment on how poor it is yet automatically assume women will be of a low standard and not worth watching. The women who fight in this country are of a higher standard than many of the male fighters currently going the rounds. They have to be. They mostly train with men and are coached by men, to get anywhere they have had to raise their game and prove they can do it.

No, I was supposed to fight Paolo Milano, but someone didn't turn up and there was a bit of shuffling of opponents so I ended up getting beaten up by a giant wrestler.

I was told that they had found an opponent for me who was about my weight and who was also having his first MMA fight. There were some slight liberties taken with the truth I think.

As for Hottest MMA stars I think Gina Carrano is definitely on that list! Well she looks good in them photo's anyway...if you saw her in real life when she isn't training she may well be an overweight munter, lol!

Erin Toughill is another one. A bit bigger that I normally go for but i'd hit it!
