hey guys.pretty new to the forum and seems like there is a lot of guys fighters and otherwise with lots of knowledge.was wondering if anyone had any advise for me.

i weigh about 78 kg and am 6 foot tall.looking at having my first amateur boxing bout in september ( i know ages away!) and am looking out for some advise on diet and nutrition, got a bit of a belly that i want to lose and also want to look good for when i fight (aswell as looking good on the beach spring break in cancun!:p

i train at my boxing club mon, tues and thurs for an hour a time, and also run back home after which is between 2 - 2.5 mile run, then on my days off boxing wedn and fridays i will run intervals 2 mins fast as i can running then 1 min light jogging doing 5 sets. on the same days wed and fri i will do weights incorporating shoulder press, bench press, lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns or dips and bicep curls.i have been doing this routine for 2 weeks.

my question is what should i be eating?i want to look ripped and i also have a small amount of muscle mass that i want to keep as much of as poss.i would estimate my body fat percentage at about between 15 and 18%.also does anyone have a sample meal plan?and how many meals should i be eating a day?and lastly does anyone think there is anything i should change on my training program or that i could do better?any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Ill go first , 6 meals per day ( try and eat every 2 hours), real clean stuff lean fish& greens is the way to go , meal size no bigger than the palm of your hand ( frank shamrock diet ) , also i think www.bodybuilding.com is a very good site , loads of peope on there with blogs of how they got down to silly bodyfat percentages , to get a six pack your diet has to be off the shizzle !!
