have a look in the nutrition section lad, or just do a search for protein or something. there's a shit load of threads on it, with a lot of information from a lot of knowledgeable folk!

lot more 2 it that that

as rene said, depends what you want it for. if it is for lean muscle then you want to be taking a whey based protein, such as Reflex Whey. Whey is a very basic protein strand and is quickly absorbed by the body. This is highly reccomended immediately after a workout (you have about a 30min window to take protein on board after training for optimum results.)

This kind of protein is also very good for after 6:00pm, as it has no carbs in and as such won't turn to fat on you as you sleep. if you take a mass building protein after say 6ish, including carbs and fat in it, then your body will not have time to convert this into energy and will store as fat in you. so i tend to stick with a whey protein after 6pm/after training.

You could take a whey protein such as reflex before bed, but it will quickly be absorbed and you wil go catabolic whilst u sleep. there for a low fat/carbs Casien based protein, such as Metrex or BSN is vital. your body only grows whilst you are in REM sleep and it is vital your body has protein now. Casien protein is much slower in absorbtion thabn whey and as such your body will have a constant source at night.

in the morning i would reccomend something like CNP, Mammoth or any other mass builder. to put on size you need calories, and dont be afraid to have them in the morning/day as your body wil convert them and not store fat

supplementing your protein with L-Glutimine is votal for proper muscle recovery too. and i whey protein shake an hour/30mins before training also helps loads too
