I was just wandering what was the mininum age for the coventry comptition for teenager? I am 16 and looking to have my first amature fight soon.

To be honest there is no official minium age. But a whole set of rules and regs will come into force soon

However for personal ethical reason i would only let an under 18 fight on a main CW show under "exceptional circumstances". And even then it would only be in an amateur bout

When will these rules come in and what will they be? Could you list the submission moves wich are illegal in amature? please don't ban the twister lol.
If I was to give you a name of guy who practise's in MMA would you be able to sort a fight on CW? (hyperthetically)

Im 16 and looking around for my first amature bout in May shall i let you know on the guy who i'd like to fight? I think he may be a bit older, however I feel that i am confident enough in my own skills to put on a good show.

Sorry for naming thread as you tag.

You may be better off fighting on one of the other shows that specialise in amateur bouts. Or on our forthcoming "Braves" events that will take place before our next Nottingham show
