CORAL GABLES, Fla., Feb. 15 -- Neither Kimbo Slice nor Tank Abbott went street Friday evening.

The brawling heavyweights, who headline Saturday's Showtime-televised EliteXC card from the United Bank Center on the campus of the University of Miami, joined 20 other fighters in making weight at a local Holiday Inn.

All remained quiet on the 305 front as Abbott momentarily locked eyes with Slice, the controversial Internet fighting sensation who has recently moved onto regulated mixed martial arts competition, before turning with a fist raised towards the small group gathered pool-side.

Slice stepped on the scale a ripped 234 pounds. Abbott, carrying his customary frame, approached the heavyweight division's limit at 263 pounds.

The 11-bout card begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Showtime portion picking up at 10 p.m.
