I just got back from this event ran by Andy Walker in Poole.
The event was really well organised, I know all my guys enjoyed it, we`ll definitly be back.
I`d like to say well done to everyone who took part from scs, win lose or draw you all did superbly:)
Nice to see the same old faces lol, you know who you are;)

The whole event was well organised and professional. A very good platform for new fighters to get into competition. I spoke to several who have got their eyes on Cage Rage already. MMA with no head shots is different. Obviously more grappling but still tough.

I hope my germs didn't spread to far.

People travelled from far and wide.
Not to sure about the band who played in the interval.

it was a good day. Really enjoyed it although competing with "man-flu" sucks !!

Great day for SCS. All our guys did really well, some with only a few months training. Looking forward to the next one.

You surprised me Graham. All those years of SAMBO and didn't try one leg lock.

haven't for a long time. Now that i live in salisbury even getting to bri's gym is a mission, but when i was training a lot more regularly, i found pretty quickly that training at S.C.S gives a really good grounding in ALL the areas of MMA so i didnt need to go anywhere else !!!

this comp wasn't a million miles away from the Combat Sports Open trials; how did they match up?

This was much better tbh, there were 2 mats so the day didn`t drag on till late.
Also it wasn`t a rip off like mma universe`s.
MMa universe charge £30 for the first one then £15 for each of the others.
It even costs £10 to watch:( .
MMA League was £10 to enter, I`m not sure how much to spectate?
There was even a band lol!!!!!!
