just posting this msg as im very displeased with mike swambo's(the owner of the AFL) action's. it all started when i was going to cardiff MMA, initial thoughts were that he was a very nice man and genuine but what i didnt realise is that while he was shaking my hand he also had his claws in my wallet!! also mislead me into thinking a good knowledge of thai boxing among other martial arts, the reason for this being is the iv trained with master sken and master todi and he has no recolection of this man....but imust say there was a man in cardiff mma called Lee Power of the Eaglesthai boxing wales, with his background being thai boxing knew nothing of mike swambo, allhe knew him from was kempo KARATE!!

While i was training with him he kept going on about the 68 pro thai boxing fights he has particaipated in, which he claims he won them all...if this is true at least some1 should be able to back him up on these claims....iv checked thai boxing records from UK and the world and no1 matches these claims!!(hes on CRACK)

On to my next subject.....have u noticed that if any of mikes fighters participate in a fight that goes to decision, regardless of whats happened in the fight they always seem to come out victorious( raj bista).i think its due to all mikes friends being on the judging table!! and being close to the cage in the last show while tom winstanley had his opponent in the rear naked choke mike swambo was atthe cage shouting to the ref not to stop the fight, which resulted in the bloke convulsing conjealed blood from the mouth and nose while fitting on the floor like a fish out of water, if you want proof watch for urself and listen to mike shout!!

I would however say that Phil is one of the brightest prospects in the South of the UK and the scary thing is he actually fights above his weight. Looking at Phil last time I saw him he was at 73KG and he didn't look particularly 'ripped' or like he'd cut any weight. I think he could probably make 70KG or even lower for Pro and for a tall lad that'll do him the world of good.

Also I think maybe he'll want to look into some Thai Boxing / Boxing classes, his ground and strength is awesome, his stand up is good, but could do with polishing to make it in the 'top' level.

I know he is currently champ at AFL and I reckon he can see people off for a long time to come, WolfPack have done a good job with him :) In general Wolf Pack are a very good camp actually... nice guys :)

The Club is based at the WPT Academy, Ystrad Road, Fforestfach Industrial Estate, Swansea.

FROM M4

- Leave the motorway at Junction 47 and take the second exit off the roundabout towards Swansea/Fforestfach (A483),
- At the next roundabout take the first exit (A483),
- Stay in the right hand lane, turn right at the next junction by Tesco onto Ffordd Cynore (B4620),
- Continue straight on through two sets of traffic lights onto Ystrad Road,

Out of interest who is fighting in the next AFL? The competitors for the AFL are all awesome, in fact across the South West you have some great guys at my weight such as Martin Evans, Matt Stone, Nick Hipkiss, Kevin Knight, Josh Ramage, etc... be good to see those guys fight again...

just posting this msg as im very displeased with mike swambo's(the owner of the AFL) action's. it all started when i was going to cardiff MMA, initial thoughts were that he was a very nice man and genuine but what i didnt realise is that while he was shaking my hand he also had his claws in my wallet!! also mislead me into thinking a good knowledge of thai boxing among other martial arts, the reason for this being is the iv trained with master sken and master todi and he has no recolection of this man....but imust say there was a man in cardiff mma called Lee Power of the Eaglesthai boxing wales, with his background being thai boxing knew nothing of mike swambo, allhe knew him from was kempo KARATE!!

While i was training with him he kept going on about the 68 pro thai boxing fights he has particaipated in, which he claims he won them all...if this is true at least some1 should be able to back him up on these claims....iv checked thai boxing records from UK and the world and no1 matches these claims!!(hes on CRACK)

On to my next subject.....have u noticed that if any of mikes fighters participate in a fight that goes to decision, regardless of whats happened in the fight they always seem to come out victorious( raj bista).i think its due to all mikes friends being on the judging table!! and being close to the cage in the last show while tom winstanley had his opponent in the rear naked choke mike swambo was atthe cage shouting to the ref not to stop the fight, which resulted in the bloke convulsing conjealed blood from the mouth and nose while fitting on the floor like a fish out of water, if you want proof watch for urself and listen to mike shout!!

yeah it went really well on the weekend, i threw about 2 kicks all fight lol and i just boxed him to death, he weighed in at 77.9kg and i weighed in at 71.9 with jeans and a jacket on and my fone wallet and everything in my pockets haha....the weight diff made a big diffence though, every punch i could feel like a ton of bricks hitting me!! he nearly decapitated me with a head kick as well....lol got another 1 in 2 weeks in sheffield!! cant wait for that now.....whos fighting from hilltribes on the afl on june 28th???
