now i know this is gonna sound stupid. But can somone tell me what defines trolling is it just taking the mick or is it answering under two names. I am fairly new to forums and I thought i new. but reading some of the threads I am getting a bit confused.
I don't want to be acused of trolling because I do have a habbit of takeing the mick but it is meant in good humor normally.

Oh God, here comes another troll...
Only joking, but it is suspicious how many trolls begin their trolling barrage with a post eerily similar to this.
In answer to your question: 'troll' is the name applied to anybody anytime on this forum who says something that anybody else doesn't like. Hence 99.87% of people on this forum have been regarded as a troll at some point (the exception is Leigh who is generally regarded as 'King of Trolls').

trolling isnt just saying something someone else doesnt like, its making to get someone to look a twat on the forum. Sometimes you do it yourself by showing their argument or their persona to be ridiculous, sometimes they make themselves look like idiots (troll themselves).
sometimes it is taken to extremes on this forum and goes too far, but more often than not its a bit of a laugh and passes the time. Either way it is pretty childish, but like i said, it can be funny (either to read or to do!). Depends on your sense of humour i guess.
