Anyone on the forum from SBG Stockport or Stockport Thai Fighters?
Website shows a nice double session of Sub Wrestling followed by Muay Thai on a Weds night and Muay Thai on a Friday night.
Anyone train there now?
Anyone comment on the standard of coaching? Standard of the students? Regular class sizes etc? I've not heard of many MMA fighters turn out from there but I have no idea about Muay Thai and Submission grapplers. They may have a really good pedigree, I dunno.
Any info would be much appreciated.

I don't train there but Ian (head coach at sbg stockport) does take a wrestling class at SBG manchester and he's a great coach, definitely worth making a trip. He's just been in america training with cecchine, the catch legend so i'm sure he'll have some new tricks up his sleeve aswell!
I'm pretty sure i've read that matt thorpe does some of his training there aswell? the standard must be pretty good if so.

Cheers mate.
I'm definately gonna concentrate on getting a good Thai class in Wednesday and Friday with the option of a sub class in if poss. The other options for MT are too far away to make it to or back from a class before/after the Thai class.
If Stockport Thai has a good level of coaching then I'd be happy to train there. I've been lucky enough to train at some great gyms, but never really settled due to work commitments and injury. I still class myself as avery much a beginner with less than 2 years experience and Im really looking for consistency now.
Thanks for any input guys.
