It was great to see Lagarto return to the UK where he is currently visiting a few european clubs before coming back to the UK for an extended period.
In his absence Lagarto has always looked after his students by leaving world class black belts in the UK in order to maintain the quality and continuity of instruction.
This meant that this seminar not only had Lagarto, but also Lucio Sergio to give detail and instruction.
Lagarto taught a wide variety of techniqiues starting with takedowns that lead straight into submission and strategies and techniques that will help to cut through an opponents defence and when an opponent is trying to stall in competition.
One vicious choke that lagarto showed took Lucio by suprise, which immediatley meant everyone asking for multiple demonstartions in order that Lucio can feel what we feel with him on a constant basis.
The seminar ended with isolated rolling and full rolling before giving out belts to the following members:-
Marios Hatzopoulos - Blue belt
Stephen Townley - Blue belt
Paul Whyman - Blue belt
Dean Murphy - Purple belt.
Representatives of Team Lagarto Preston, Oldham, Redcar, Stoke on Trent, Eccles and Sheffield where all present.
