We respectfully draw your attention to the site where we will provide the information on grappling.

http://www.gbgrappling.com/index.php/home

Excerpt from Site

“The door is open for “likeminded” groups clubs and individuals who want to be part of the excitement that is being generated at an International level with respect to grappling. Last year through various challenges ...we realised our initial goals..

Those experiences have, we believe made us more focused, with respect to providing an International stage for Great Britain Grapplers”.

Open to All

“With respect to competing, Jiu-jitsu students will have to learn to execute and defend takedowns from wrestlers and throws from judo and sombo students, while wrestlers will have to learn to finish and defend submissions”.

Briefly

The aim is not to impose a will on prospective member, the aim is to provide an international platform for all.

With respect to some coaches there will be a requirement in some cases to provide copies of evidence of coaching ability to allow us to help certain individuals to realise their goals, this will usually be the case of coaches not known the the small world of grappling in Great Britain, it is a compliance procedure we quite rightly will have to go through in some cases
Tournament entry fees will include insurance to cover the competitor for that event, Monies raised from memberships /tournaments will be used to fund teams to participate in International events.

The site is not complete, and there will be more information to follow ..please bear with us.

Thank you for your time in reading this email,

Kind Regards

Ebe
