Hi,
I found the forum through this (http://www.cagewarriors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16201) post while I was searching for info on classes in my area. I don't have any experience at all but I'm interested in starting jujitsu or BJJ maybe, but I don't know if they will be ok for a beginner. Basically I'm just looking for advice on how to go about getting started. What should I learn to start with and how would I find the right class?
Thanks

Also, someone in the thread I posted about said "Don't go anywhere near Teesside" and posted a link to another thread, but it's been deleted now. Just wondering if anyone knows what that was about?

If your from Teesside you should be able to answer that question yourself fella'
seriously though it was probably just a video linking to Tin Tin videos or something and nothing to do with MMA.

As Jambo said on page there are loads of classes, Cliff Pollards at Ormesby being very well established, a lovely gym with ring, bags, weights and large matted area (again one of his ex lads) a superb bunch of lads to train with, Wrestleing is at Stockton Sports Centre towards Norton opposite Tilery.

I think Peter Jordan has now stopped Pavilion session and trains with Sean Colfer who is running the BJJ gym at Thornaby, Bonlea Trading Estate from what one of their lads was saying. think that is mainly Gi training though!

Teesside is shit, although Middlesbrough is superb for shopping I think we equal the Metro Centre especially when Middlehaven is finished!
