On behalf of the Angrrr Management team I would like to thank all of you that supported our event in Clevedon, this is not only for all of you who took part but to the Wives, Girlfriends, Children, friends etc that came to support you during the day, this is obviously extended to team mates, coaches & all others that came along, you all made it the overwhelming success it was.
we had just over 80 entrants who I am sure all enjoyed the competition.
We were more than made welcome by the Venue staff & will be looking to hold Grrrapple 3 in either late November or early December, let me know what you thoughts were as we do intend to improve this event, we feel that it was a better event than Grrrapple 1 but do not intend to sit on our arses & become complacent so constructive criticism would be welcome.
Thanks to you all again, dont forget, "Face - Off" Saturday 6th September, Thornbury Leisure Centre, Bristol.
Chris.
P:S Results will be added as soon as we locate our file that someone cannot find!

As Chris said it was a really good event, we will accept any suggestions ( especially about the draws) and make sure that this is the event that sub-fighters want to take part in,
As for the results, not every weight/experience bracket was filled so there was a reduction in the divisions, Kudos to those who stepped up!
some results sheets where taken from the stack so this list might not be complete, please PM me with any missing info if you have it :-)
Divison Winners
Rich Jones: U1year u78KG
Jordan Hamilton: 1-3 year u73Kg
Chris Jones: 1-3 year U84Kg
Luke Costello 1-3 year U93Kg
Ben Downing 3+ year U68Kg
Alex Owen 3+ year u73Kg
Joseph Duffy 3+ Year u78Kg
Ronan Fleming 3+ Year U100Kg
Alsoloute: Luke Costello
See you all at the Next Event

great day out, i was pleased as hell to win my catagory and learned alot from it, all the boys from falcons did really well and all enjoyed the day out, as far as constructive critism goes the only thing i would change is the way the weigh ins were done, it was stated weigh ins were at 9 but i never ened up weighing in till 11 bit annoying when your gagging for a drink from cutting! would be easier next event to weight every division all at begining rather than spread the weigh ins throughout the day. other than that tho was a great day out and will defo be there for grrrapple 3!

You are quite right, it was stated that the weigh-in's were at 9-00, there was confusion from the venues point of view, they were not expecting us until 10-00, on top of this my son's Mother called me at 8-00ish to tell me that I had to collect him from hers at 9-00 rather than her bring him to me as previously agreed - please accept my apologies for that.
See you all at Grrrapple 3, & thanks again.

I had a great day at this event. Still aching a bit today though LOL
The only let down for me, again was the whole weigh in process. I tried to make under 84kgs but when it got to 10:15 and I hadn't weighed in I decided to stuff it and eat and drink something. Thus ending up competing in the U93 weighing 85.1 LOL. Still, it was a good day and we will hopefully be back for the next one.
Well done to everytone who competed, especially Luke Costello.

Only issue for me was also the weigh ins.Didn't weigh in till 11 so that meant i had hardly eaten or drank for around 15 hrs.Was getting a bit annoyed by the end of it.My experience level was 1 to 3 years although they merged it with the division above. It was my first time competing and had to go up against a more experienced guy.I didn't see this as a bad thing though as i learned so much from it and that was my reason for entering.
I think my opponent was John Godwin from Newport mma. Thanks for the triangle John lol....
