By power bag do you mean those sandbags with handles?

Make your own mate seriously. Go to B&Q and buy a bag of play sand about £3, also buy some polypropulene rubble sacks(in the builders section), you only need one but they come in packs of 5. Also a roll of quality duck tape.

Go home, put the unopened bag of sand in the rubble sack, fold over any loose edges, and proceed to tape the whole lot up with strips of duck tape! I went in diagonals to give more strength.

You could go down the road of putting the sand in smaller sandwhich bags before filling the rubble sack, but as the sand is slightly damp in the bag, it won't fly everywhere if you get a small tear. If the bag tears either duct tape it back up or make a new one!

You don't need handles like on the power bags, just grab the sandbag with your hands and work your grip!

or get heavy duty tool bags and fill them with bags of sand, then tape the handles as they rip your fingers up!

I've got 2 made now, one 15kg and a 25kg. The bigger one is bloody hard work!

Let us know how you get on.

I made a 25kg one at the weekend just as you mentioned in your earlier post.
It takes some getting use to and it is a heavy bitch!

Still all in with the sand i made it for

25KG bag of sand = £3.50
Builders bag = 65p
Duck tape = £2.50 per roll

A lot cheaper than £60 - £70 for a branded one!!!
