Anyone else here think the picture in Wikipedia should be changed?

I googled BJJ and the Wikipedia page comes up first - when you go to it it shows a couple of guys in half mount/guard (even then that's done badly).

Not exactly a good promotion of BJJ. I don't know how you'd go about changing the picture - I had a winge about it in the discussion part of that page, but I don't think that picture is a good advertisement of BJJ - I'm sure there's better pics around...

Its not supposed to be an advertisement, though

Good point...

I agree it's not meant to be an advert, but I would have though that most people looking up BJJ in Wikipedia would be people that maybe don't train, but are maybe interested in doing so, or just curious about it - in which case a better picture could be used to promote BJJ....

I just think there's better pictures that could be used rather than the one currently on wikipedia... Maybe I'm being too fussy and 'nitpicky' in my old age :)

the pics that are on wikipedia have to be copyright free, so are usually uploaded by users

if you have a better pic, put it up

I've seen people complain about pictures being too positive, in that it i supposed to be informative, not promotional

I also think that's a bit fussy and don't care one way or the other. Just pointing out that I've read a LOT of wikipedia at work
