View Full Version : I'm after some knee pads
20-07-2008, 11:10 PM
Never had any knee pads before, didn't see the need for them. However, over the last few weeks whenever we do wrestling, my knees are sore for a couple of days afterwards. So.....
Are there any major differences between the brands? Which would you recommend? Where's the best place to get them?

Diane, we'll be getting the Cliff Keen range in stock very soon. The knee pads are up on our website.

thanks i've just had a look. Let me know when they're in stock. What's the padding, is it foam?
Done a bit of a search since posting. Has anyone tried the asics gel knee pads?

These were recomended ages ago......nice price, work well too....and wash ok.

Yeah, they're cheap! and come in pairs for the price. Does it matter that they're for volleyball and not wrestling?
Does it matter that they won't fit the knees of a midget?

Did a bit of a search through some old threads and found somebody recommended sportset. So i've ordered these:
Otherwise i'll just use them til fightsuperstore get theirs in.
They look pretty good, bashed my knee yet again today and have mat burn on top of that! Can you post when you get them if they are any good?
There are some here, you have to scroll right down past the men in little shorts to the bottom:

yeah will do. I liked that they came in pairs & was free delivery, so not a bad price. Hopefully they'll do the job, but i've never heard of them.

Wish you'd come up with that link 10 minutes ago. :(
Oh noooo, can you cancel the order with the other place?

I wouldn't recommend the 'trace' ones I bought. The stitching came loose on one of them the first time I wore them. When I sent an email to the website they told me to send them back for them to look at and tried to blame me for ordering them too small. lol. They aren't too small, just rubbish stitching!!

go for the neoprene knee pads every time, they're so much better than the rogue type ones.

Brute neoprene wrestling pads are top quality I bought my ones from Bulldog sports two years ago and they are still going strong,, they were about 30 quid
