Hello,
thought id get a thread going for Female MMA T-Shirts, so I get the impression that 50% like pink and 50% dont haha ...... going to be doing some more Female T-Shirts in the next week so any ideas here from actual MMA women be great.
Things id like from this thread: colors, appearances & styles of t-shirt.
Thanks,
Jay.

i like the fitted t-shirt best because they dont rise up and show your bra off like the loose ones!!!
but not the cheap kind with those little capped sleeves that dig into your arm pits, not good!

Fitted tops! I think we're heading down that road, I think scoop necked tops got mentioned too.
Thanks!
keep the feedback rolling *lazy designers need people to give them ideas to claim as there own* haha!
I like fitted ones but not scoop necks (fussy!). Definitely not pink or cammo and quite simple design too, not too fussy :D

I like them tight and dont mind a little pink but I do hate it when the lycra rash guard ride up and they slide up to just under my bra exposing my less than perfect stomach. However, that said I am trying hard to improve the definition there so maybe that is just the incentive I need to tone up!

The designs going to rule for the new Womens products! just the fittings etc we gotta get right.
Everyone likes things different haha!
My male rash vest im lucky to get it off never mind it ride up haha.
I need to get a rash vest or something, fed up of having potentially embarassing moments now!
Are these going to be casual style tshirts Jay?

Jay, i think you pretty much just need to offer the female equivilent to all the mens gear but designed to fit a female body. Not all of us like wearing bloody pink! Theres so much potential, just be imaginative with the designs and use a wide palate.

Glad you said that! we've been crossing over gear so that its very similar to the males, we've got some however for the more girly girls too! but I think the new CS gear should prove popular, its all about respect to Womens MMA and not Bunnys and Hearts.

see thats what i mean, having fight gear for women thats all pink and bunnies and hearts and 'cute' stuff, how will we ever be taken seriously? i mean, look at all the female olympians, theyre wearing the same style as the men, its just cut for a female body. women's mma is a serious and legit sport. we should be able to dress in a manner that reflects that.

oh aye, do you have a link for your new stuff yet Jay?
It's been the same with cycling stuff. First there was none, then some came out and was mostly pink, as were most women specific bikes.I don't think they actually asked women what they wanted, just presumed we would want pink. Its not too bad now, it seems to be getting better.Hoping this happens with womens ma gear too, though Im not convinced as yet.

it begs the question though, does it make the sport more acceptable / accessible to men if the women are all girly and pink? are we less theatening like that?
Lol possibly, wearing kittens probably helps too :D

What does it matter? They won't remeber what colour your wearing when you are choking them out! :p

I completly agree with Womens MMA clothes being like mens, obviously sometimes a little different as I make "exclusives" to women that are like the mens but different cut and maybe slightly better to some peoples taste! also Jamie has done all the clothes in different colors so girly girls can have pink and people who are tired of that can get different colors.

good stuff, thats what i like to hear, the only thing id ask you to remember is with the sizes, please try to accomodate bigger folks, and i dont just mean overweight! i mean tall and large build too.

i wear pink but i can assure you i am not girlie, it should be about how you train not what you wear so what does it matter if you wear pink or camo or polka dots!

Womens MMA is a tricky thing, its gonna get insanely popular for sure! Femme Fatale etc! but the wear has to be taken seriously ..... i think pink can be done well but if it looks tacky or bunnies hearts and stuff then people wont take it seriously.
I think UFC are stupid for not having a female division.

i concur! :D
I was discussing this with my bf the other day and I said that was probably what would make it.I do hope it gets bigger,we need more women, but the Elite XC fights and women such as Rosi signing with them will only do good as there are more excellent ambassadors.

Dana White doean't like the idea and can't see a womens division for a long time I heard!
I like Gina haha she's such a bad guy! and it was funny when she nearly kicked a women threw the cage ^.^

if the UFC gets behind it, then it will really help, i hope they do...
the thing with Gina though, shes gotta make weight! it just knocks her credibility if she doesnt make it.
