Hi,
I just wanted to know if anybody has heard of an un-licenced boxing & MMA event taking place in York.
I have heard a few rumours circulating and would like to know what (if anything) others have heard or know??
Cheers

ive heard of it apparently its jb promotions, i'm not particularly happy about it as out of courtesy i thought they would of contacted myself if only for fighter (as i run the only mma club in the city), they havent even contacted the amatuer boxing club, sounds like a sack of shit to me.
sorry to anyone involved with the promotion but im intitled to my opinion and to voice it

I think so.
Are they the one that advertise in the back of boxing monthly?

Just got this months boxing monthly. It's not them.
The one in Boxing Monthly who is advertising for fighters is World Mixed Martial Arts Union (appears to be assocaited to the Amateur Boxing Union). I've mentioned them before, but I remember getting shot down because I doubted their credentials

They obviously dont have a clue lol, surely, if your planning on holding an event somewhere, especially quite a small city like york, where there aren't many clubs, then it would be a pretty good idea to speak to the locals.

Thanks
