Throwdown ones are the best ive seen, fightsuperstore had them but i think theres some problem with the manufacturers at the moment.
Twins do some good ones as well but the ones available in the uk at the moment have less padding - i got mine in Thailand (6-8oz padding), good quality but not as comfy as the throwdown ones!

Can't see any MMA sparring gloves, just fight gloves. Not point in buying fight gloves, cause most events provide gloves whe you fight.
Fairtex are about the bes around, Twins are OK too.

I dont bother with em to be honest, just use my boxing gloves & MMA gloves and adjust the power of my shots accordingly or to wot we are training!
I just dont like the MMA sparring gloves, but thats just my preference

We use boxing gloves for boxing, Muay Thai and sprawl and brawl, but definately MMA sparring gloves for MMA, ground and pound, etc.
Simply "adjusting your power" doesn't work... for many reason, such as
- Beginners very rarely have the ability to adjust their power that well
- The odd "un-adjusted shot" wil get through
- When most people adjust their power to fit their gloves, they also adjust the snap of their shot and their ability to throw flowing combinations
- You spend more time worrying about not throwing hard shots and not enough about sparring.
I'm interested Tommo, what benefits do you think there are to training with MMA fight gloves?

got my Fairtex one off fightshop I think. Only had them on once for sparring may be twice and sat in my training bag since. I use my boxing gloves for Muay Thai and boxing but really I only do BJJ and subs grappling now.
Sold them on to a very nice Welsh chap at a more than reasonable price.

I just use them for ground work mate to get used to grappling with them & the occasional light shots, as its a lot different than when you havent got any on.....I just dont like MMA sparring gloves cos every pair ive tried seem to slide around on my hands...mite just be the ones i used tho ;)
EDIT - it mite be worth noting that I still mainly have to train diff disciplines at diff places due to there being very few recognised MMA gyms in Spain

Very good gloves and reasonably priced.
Been sparring with these for about 6 months and are great fit and let's you throw good shots without damage to training partners.
