New Opponent For Wallhead At M-1 Challenge

Top welterweight prospect ‘Judo’ Jimmy Wallhead (14-5) will be fighting a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt at M-1 next week.

Igor Araujo, who is 7-1 in his last eight fights, is a black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. student Aldo Caveirinha and has a wealth of international experience.

He has been drafted in to face Wallhead after original opponent Jason Ball was forced to pull out because of an injury sustained in training.

No one should underestimate Araujo. As was stated above, he's 7-1 in his last 8 fights. The 1 loss was by decision, 6 of the wins by submission. A tough and experienced opponent with a top level ground game. This is another great test for Jimmy.

I can't believe people are talking about this more.

Cage Warriors has been bringing over Euros and putting on top fights since 2002. I'm sure it's only a matter of matter before Jimmy makes the big show and he is gonna make sure Araujo won't pull out the win.

But Araujo has been doing well as of late and with a new management team behind him and training at Xtreme Couture, he'll be looking for a springboard into the next level and beyond.

The crowd when crazy for Jimmy last time and as this will be the penultimate fight, i expect the crowd to go crazy this time round.
