As an adopted (seven year) Yorkshireman, I'd be reet proud if Wain won.

reminds me of working in bars in greece, everytime the police came past the bars had to turn off the music. Thing is everytime that happened (at any point during the season) "YORKSHIRE YORKSHIRE YORKSHIRE" would kick off louder than any music

It's not really Manchester- kind of in the middle of nowhere but nearish. I end up getting lost and ending up there when trying to find an alternative route from home when the M6 is closed!

There's a Clitheroe near York... but judging by Mr Bisping's accent I'd say it's the one in sheep-rustling territory near Burnley above!

I always want to pronounce it Clit-hero, but I'm sure the locals are all sick of that one.

Anyroad, I thought MB was born in Cyprus??

Clitheroe is not near anywhere. It is in the Ribble Valley which has a population of 52,000 people and a population density of 5 people per sq Km. Manchester has a population density of 3,000 people per sq km.

Yes there are officially more sheep in the Ribble Valley than people.

(and Mike has just walked in and is looking over my shoulder as I write this !!!!)

Clitheroe is 14 miles north of Blackburn
