Dipping belt

I've recently been using a weighted vest for dips and pullups. I'm now looking to buy a dipping belt instead. Does anyone have any advice for buying one? Does neoprene or leather make a difference?

Leather and chains combined for me. Got it from Tropicana about 5 years ago, works well but looks (and sounds) like I'm off to a S & M "event"...!
