so, if i'm going to be lifting weight, deadlifts and stuff, what should i be doing to warm up prior??

do the same movements but with lighter weight. for example, if you are benching 100kg for 5 reps, start off with 50kg for 6-8, 70kg for 4, 90kg for 2 and then do your working sets

these aren't strict percentages, as everyone is different

cool, that's kinda what i'd been doing when i've dabbled with weights before :)
