Depends where in the north mate, there are 3 I think in Aberdeen, not heard of anywhere else other than Rung's thai boxing club in Inverness and there's some guys do thai in Oban

I think they pretty much all do although if its BJJ your looking for then I would lean more towards AMAG and Aliveness gym as they compete in BJJ. AMAG also has a BJJ Brown Belt teaching there in Peter Richardson. If it's MMA then Team Jigoku has more active MMA fighters than the others. I've met a few of the guys from AMAG and Aliveness gym and haven't got a bad word to say about them, very passionate about the sport and really nice guys as well. Have only seen the Team Jigoku guys fight on shows so can't comment on what they're like. Anyway here's the various websites

Team Jigoku (http://sites.google.com/site/shoteikumite/Home)
Aberdeen Martial Arts Group (http://www.amag.org.uk/)
Aliveness Gym (http://www.bjj.org.uk/)

Hope this helps

I'd suggest having a look at AMAG, but seeing as that's where I train I'm a wee bit bias! The class strudture, with the phase 1/begineers classes is a great way to be introduced into the differents arts, and helps you get to know the folk you'll be training with. Also, can't fault the instructors either, good bunch of guys.

Meat, are you going to the Sportfight Scotland fights next week on the 15th? Looks like it'll be another great card.

Hi Guys,
I've recently moved to Oban and I found this thread mentioning about guys in Oban who do Muay Thai? Any further details please. Having trained hard to get my first C class fight under my belt I'm keen to continue.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
David

Lets just say. I got the chance to say. What I want to say to you? coldfusion hosting (http://www.needscripts.com/coldfusion-hosting.html) * I think about you, when the sun goes down. You are my first thought of the day. Could your heart be mine someday? Here I sit. Its just me. Contemplating reality. Sitting here, my biggest fear, not to hear the words windows hosting (http://www.needscripts.com/windows-hosting.html) I long to hear. Do you think of me, when the sun goes down? Am I in your thoughts at all? asp hosting (http://www.needscripts.com/asp-hosting.html) Would you be there to love me always?
