Excellent news, does anyone know if guys like Roger Gracie or Robert Drysdale are competing in adcc 2009?

Imagine Fedor vs one of them! How do you think Fedor will fare in ADCC?

Hopefully some of the experienced UK Black belts can reply I know theres a few on here.

If he doesnt get very far and the whole sambo community will claim that fedor is event the best in sambo and that the sambo world champion would clean it up.
In the same lines every bjj hippie will run around screaming jiu jitsu and that its beter than sambo

If he gets far the sambo people will claim sambo is beter than bjj and visa versa. I cant wait

Drysdale is fighting Roger in the superfight theoretically and i doubt either of them would do the absolute since it would mean they wouldn't be 100% for the superfight. Either would beat him tho. If Fedor did +99kg i think he'll end up being overpowered by someone who isn;t distracted by Fedor's fists bouncing of their skulls. Wonder if he'll do -99kg, he isn't that heavy a heavyweight after all.

I honestly don't know how to react to this news. I'm a pretty big Fedor fan, and i'd love to see him do well, i just cant help thinking he'll get outclassed by the ground skills of some of the guys there.
