Basically i want to become more flexible and be able to throw even body kicks :)

Any help would be great? any youtube clips? dvds (im not buying any but links to DL would be cool)

I spend about 30 minutes stretching, twice a day.

As a result I avoid injuries and am of a high degree of flexibility.

Stretching is just as important as any exercise

I'd also say that kicking a lot helps. When you're in mcDonalds, kick your burger wrappers into the bin. When you're in work, kick your boss. When you're in the street, kick chavs. It all helps you kick that wee bit higher and harder.
Stretching for 5 minutes a day helps too.

Stretching Scientifically by Thomas Kurz is my stretching bible, used to be really strict with it in the old kung fu days. I used to be able to just jump into a split cold. That was of course before I realised how useless such a skill is!

Seriously tho, really good book for stretching.

Well, it's pretty good for stretching. I use the 3x8+30 protocol quite a lot when I need quick results.

Tom Kurz is a master of stretching.

Sadly his dvd series is pretty wank

3 sets of 8 reps, each rep held for 30 seconds... is my guess?

Strech twice a week for 30 mins plus in training. When you are being shown something in training strech. When watching tv, strech. While banging the missus, streach. You get the idea.

Some people who have the time will also do mobilty drills but I can never be arsed
