It appears UFC 95 is finally taking shape as MMABay can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that two huge matches are on the verge of being announced, between heavyweight Gabriel Gonzaga and Shane Carwin and middleweights Nate Marquardt and Wilson Gouveia.

Awesome. Marquardt by decision, Gonzaga by tko or submission, Carwin could catch him and knock him out of course.

I see this fight (Gonzaga vs Carwin), as Carwins first loss, where he will prove not ready for someone like Gonzaga.

Yeah totally agree i like carwin but this is too soon i think, thought carwin might have been put against grove

i knew i had seen that Carwin v Gonzaga story somewhere before.

So actually it was not exclusive, and wrong?

"Despite several reports to the contrary, a bout between heavyweight prospect Shane Carwin and Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 96 has not been signed.

A source from Carwin's camp told MMAInsider that Carwin had not received word of the bout, nor had he received any bout agreements for a fight with the top ranked Brazilian fighter."



Looks like the fight may not be as close to happening as we all thought.
