View Full Version : Eating in the morning

Everytime I have breakfast in the morning, like when i wake up, I find it hard to stomach. I tend to feel quite sick if im eating things like toast etc, like it just feels hard to eat. I can drink water, or tea etc but its like i have to wait a few hours before i can eat in the morning.

Any ideas that could help, or food ideas perhaps?

i used to have this problem from time to time. what helps is - as soon as you wake up drink a large glass of water, about 30 mins later you'll find it easier to eat something. works for me!

porridge oats, whey and udo's oil in blender with water awesome breakfast quick and easy and not to heavy on the stomach

or maybe i dont know if anybody recomended this yet but you could try the above?

For me this works pretty good:



6:00am - Raisons & 1/4 pint of water

2 hours workout (Run, Pads/Weights/Spar)

8:30am Bannana & Porridge / Bannana & Wheat-a-bix



And then I am full until lunch....

Not really a problem to not eat on waking, eat when your body is ready - just make sure you get a good balanced breakfast in when you do eat, and this may mean carrying a breakfast to work...

Don't forget to have protein with your breakfast, complex carbs, fibre and a good source of vits and minerals too...

For example, I train at 7am most mornings, but don't eat anything until 10-11am...

its essential fatty acids just put a tablespoon in your shake in the morning cant even taste it, omega3,6 and 9

I find that burger king works for me haha j/k

I used to be like that so I had fruit juice and sometimes grapes and banana slices.

Still finding it difficult to eat in the morning! I've tried getting up early and waiting for an hour but soon as i take the first bite i lose my appetite and feel abit sick. You think i could have worms or something?!

I dunno but lately i just havent had the appetite to eat large portions, normally i could eat quite alot (im about 5'10 80kgs but with a fat belly), and Im used to eating loads of shit. Lately i've not really been in the mood to eat as much and dont feel that snacky? Gonna go doctors to just see anyway but yeh, possible i have worms or something lol

Must have took me about 10 minutes to eat a muller rice, the thign is ill feel hungry but when i try to eat ill stop feelign hungry after a bite then after that i feel abit sick.

Defo check with the GP. I always say that if something like your eating, sleeping, toilet routine significantly changes it's worth getting it checked out, just in case.
