lol, so true.
But you have to be fair. Everyone starts out buying loads of MMA gear.... only with a few years experience do you realise that it's a waste of money. Either buy cheap shorts and T-shirts from TK Maxx or Matalan...or get the MMA gear for free

In TK maxx i have found:
1 X FCF Beenie
1 X Tapout tracksuit
2 X No-Gi MMA shorts
1 X Warrior Wear T- shirt
but really, for training any shorts from any shop will do. i just find TK Maxx have a cool selection of board shorts which suit grappling and are durable.

i used to use umbro shorts from sports direct (£3) and various surf shorts from TK MAxx etc, but i got a pair of sprawl shorts for xmas and certain parts of my game have improved immeasurably.
For instance, i look 100% cooler and my tendency to wear black tshirts for training is beautifully complimented by the black and yellow colour scheme of the sprawls. In terms of physical performance, i'm still shit, but now i'm fashionably shit.
