But no striking forum - why is this?

We post a vast majority of striking related threads including boxing within the Pro MMA - because we have nowhere else to post it.

Sorry if I missed the set up details when C.W was refurbished lol

Thanks,
Will

Maybe not many people would post in it?

There's a striking section... it's called Troll Hole.

... but if Will gets his own 'striking' sub forum then I want a forum too. I want an Amateur 'head shot' forum.

There should be a Nando's subsection.

Seriously though, a boxing/kickboxing/stand up competition subsection would be great. But, that said, when there is the odd boxing thread floating about in the mma section, it's no bad thing.

We used to have one.... no idea why we don't anymore, cause striking is much better than grappling

Too many sub forums already imo.

All the ones in "Weights, Conditioning and Nutrition" ruined that forum just as it was picking up momentum.

On the grappling and striking point, the far bigger range of techniques and constant innovation in grappling for example simply means there's more to discuss.

I agree, those 4 sections could be merged without any problems :)

Agreed, that seemed unwarranted, and noone actually posts their questions in the right section anyway. Needs to be merged to no more than 2! Why is there a question about a torn bicep in 'ask the fighter' for instance??
