View Full Version : Lisa Higo fights on Saturday! 8 woman tournament, live web broadcast

Lisa Higo is competing in the GFight 8 woman tournament in the US on Saturday night. It will be broadcast via live web stream (I think it starts 1am UK time).

Lisa is in amazing shape - I sparred with her last week and still have the bruises to show for it - but is up against some tough (and experienced) opposition like American Top Team's Jessica Aguilar, Cung Le protege Van Do Milnes, and top ten ranked Angela Magana.

It should be a great event. I haven't looked forward to a show like this in ages.

Lisa Higo has won the G-fight Worlds Title, she went in as the least experienced mma fighter and totally dominated with her stand up technique and sprawl. She is ow 4 and O.Many thanks to Karl and Rosi and Team SBG/Assassin.

True to an extent as it would be the guy's team region only support that fighter

Very true... and not many out there, male or female, can say they've won an 8 person tournament. Three fights in a night is fucking insane! Especially against some of the top 10 in the weight division.

I know I'm biased because I'm Lisa's team mate, but she deserves a LOT of credit for this.

How fantastic for Lisa!! That is really amazing!! Just watched the fights and Lisa is bloody fierce! Great skill.
