It's popcorn time once again as the first Groundandpound.de European Rankings of 2009 are out !!

Seen by many as THE rankings for European fighters. it's always a source of contention and there have been a few changes in the new year too

Can't believe Tengiz is so high. Fought once in almost 18 months, and that was a loss. I suppose technically speaking he's 'active', but do you keep yourself in rankings by coming back for a loss?

funny to see weightclasses are dominated by countrys.LW has loads of frenchies,fw and ww loads of brits, hw loads of dutch

as much as I enjoy watching Tedoradze fight, he shouldn't be that high. Hardonk and Struve should be above him.

So you'd place money on thompson against those two? Struve has beaten a lot better fighters than thompson, not taking anything away from thompson the guy is a good fighter but his ranking against their's is comical
