Where can i get one at a reasonable price because im not into the shit plastic guard i have at the moment and i need a new one due to the rubber edge falling off and the strap ripping :D also where would i be able to get a jock strap to fit one instead of the dodgy strings, like wearing a thong.

never thought its for mma will this reduce movement more than a plastic cup or is quality the only difference, and thanks
put a plastic cup in and get knee'd in the groin
put the thai one on (metal) and repeat
let me know which one you'd rather wear ;-)

Its a lot less restrictive to movement than ruptured bollocks !

They are alot more comfortable than the plastic ones, as they have proper padding to stop them digging in. I just bought one from fightshop.com and was really impressed with the service.
I personally prefer to put it in a jock strap, training with a wedgie isn't too comfortable! If you don't have one just buy a cheap plastic groin guard and chuck the crappy cup away.
