I have a hernia and am worried I won't be able to fight because of it. I have the pre-op soon and am pretty worried that I'll have to take too long out of training. I read online that a ridiculously huge bodybuilder was lifting weights again a few days after having his operated on. Does this mean there are any unofficial ways to speed up the healing process?

rest it for a while and then train slow you will be fine, their is always a chance of the area being weak but if you wanna fight and risk it its no one elses decision, the hospital might not take kindly to having to open you up a second time.
